Project Details

The Wadi is a contemporary residential destination on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, created around a strong connection between architecture, landscape and water. Located beside Yas Canal, the development covers more than 140,000 square metres and offers a setting where landscaped surroundings and urban convenience come together. The sea is approximately three kilometres away, while several of Abu Dhabi’s prominent attractions are easily accessible from the community.

The concept behind The Wadi takes inspiration from the natural character of a wadi, translating its organic movement into the design of the community. Curving routes, a central landscaped valley, gardens and water elements create a distinctive outdoor environment. Rather than treating greenery as separate decoration, the development integrates planted areas throughout the masterplan to create a more connected relationship between homes and nature.

The landscape reflects the UAE’s natural identity through the use of Ghaf trees, date palms, white mangroves, agaves, aloes and other resilient plant species.
